  athiest this is for you!

  i have to give props to most athiest on jwn, for one thing, you guys dont run away, i have been having discussions on youtube with jw and it is so frustrating.

  what makes it frustrating is unlike me and athiest ,the jw and myself both claim the same thing that the bible is gods word, almost everytime i get into a discussion with one they make a claim i show them bible verse and they have no answer, so they attack me other than the point i bring up, than they say om under satan control, all for just using the bible.

  than they say not to contact them anymore.

  Yup sounds like loads of other nonsensical things theists say in an attempt to use logic.

  Maybe you could make some more billboards?

  "Santa does not belive in adults therefore adults do not exist"

  "Tinkerbell does not believe in people that do not clap their hands and shout 'I believe in fairies!' therefore people with hands who are not clapping and not shouting 'I believe in fairies!' do not exist"

  "Allah does not believe in christians, therefore christians do not exist"

  Why are you arguing with someone who belives the earth (~4.54 billion years old) is 10,000 years old?!! He/she simply doesn't have an IQ high enough to be worth debating with.

  Need advice

  so i recently returned to the truth.

  i was raised by an elder and jw family.

  25 years later i am a new unbaptized publisher.. i have a problem i hope you all can give advice.

  You can't lose "Jehovah's spirit" any more than you can lose Allah's spirit, The Flying Spaghetti Monster's spirit or Huitzilopochtli's spirit - you never had it to start with because none of them exist.

  You need to wake up and realise that it's all a load of made-up crap and your mental health will improve amazingly!

  The only spirit you could feasibly lose is something like a bottle of JD.

  Finding Neverland

  i went to see finding neverland last night in leicester, uk.. it had it's world premier there last week and it was a good opportunity to see something that will go to london and then the us, but see it first in central england i thought.. loved it.

  excellent choreography.

  beautiful scene changes.

  I kept meaning to see Finding Neverland as it was getting great reviews and I really love going to Curve, but never got around to it. Plus I wasn't that keen on the film which put me off a bit.

  if you live in the uk tune in to bbc three, the teenage daughter of jw parents go on holiday abroad for the first time with her mates...i can see these parents being called into the back room by the elders on sunday .

  just watched this, very tolerant parents for JWs I thought - mine would have gone completely nuts at me and then thrown me out of home and never spoke to me again (unbaptised or not) if I'd have done what she did in Kos!

  Help! I'm on a different computer

  i have tried to post on my other computer and i can log on and type but it won't show up!

  i incorrectly removed some stuff off my computer and now i cannot post.

  any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  hahaha, all this hassle because this site is 10 years out of date and broken

  you don't need to install java or upgrade to windows 7 or anything, it's just a website you are trying to view - either install a browser like chrome or firefox, or as someone has said - click the 'compatibility' button which fixes problems for old or non standards-compliant websites like this one.

  today i added to my blog pages 11-12 of the 13-page submission by a doctor of psychology that is a watchtower appointed elder.

  he had ideas about elder involvement with jehovahs witnesses suffering mental illness, and particularly victims of child abuse, and thought it best to share these with watchtower.
